The mission of our school is to provide all students with a high quality education that enables them to be contributing members of a multiethnic, multicultural, pluralistic society. Rules

The school makes a very careful selection of the pupils and demand high standards in attainments.

Rules Of The School

  1. The medium of instruction is English which alone should be used at all times in the school.
  2. All pupils shall be bound by the rules and regulations of the school.
  3. Students who are not in the proper uniform will not be allowed to attend the classes.
  4. All students are expected to take part in the morning assembly in absolute silence and in a perfectly disciplined manner.
  5. Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases will not be allowed to attend the classes.
  6. The students are not allowed to enter any classroom other than their own without permission.
  7. The students should be regular and punctual in doing their assignments.
  8. The pupils are expected to behave politely and obediently to the teachers and to show courtesy to visitors and other guests .
  9. Collection of funds for any purpose needs the principal's permission.
  10. Classrooms should be kept neat and tidy.
  11. In case of any illness , while at school, the students are expected to report immediately to the class teacher or the teacher on duty.
  12. Any damage done to the school property or that of other pupils will have to be compensated.
  13. The school begins at 9.15 am and ends at 3.30 p. m.
  14. Participation in Co- curricular activities is compulsory for all pupils unless exemption is obtained in medical grounds.
  15. Absolute discipline is expected from students and serious misconduct is a sufficient reason for dismissal.
  16. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. Gold ornaments and other valuable articles should not be brought to the school. The school is not responsible for goods lost.
  17. The decision of the principal will be final in all academic and routine Administrative matters.
  18. Cleanliness of person and dress is expected from every student. The uniform must be clean well pressed and complete at all time. Students coming to school in untidy school dress, unkempt hair, improper footwear etc. will be denied admission to the class.
  19. When pupil are moving along corridors to another classroom, they should keep silence and walk in a single line.
  20. Withdrawal of students from class during school hours can be done only after obtaining the permission of the class teachers and the principal.
  21. The management reserves the right to request parents to withdraw their wards from the school if the behaviour and/or conduct of the parent and/or word goes, against the discipline, culture of the school.
  22. No student shall absent himself from his class without the prior permission of the class teacher or principal. If prior permission cannot be obtained for reasons beyond control an application for leave signed by the parent should be sent to the principal on his return to the school.
  23. Parents are requested to take note of sign and return reports sent to them from time, without delay; otherwise the students may be barred from attending classes.
  24. Absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 14 consecutive days renders the students liable to have his/her name struck off from the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on a satisfactory explanation by parents/guardians and on payment of a fresh admission fee of Rs.100/-


Library

The school is arranging class library in all class rooms from II to IX which will be controlled by librarian. The Students are advised to contribute at least one book each year to the class library which will create an interest in reading and co-operation among the students.

  1. 1. All students and members of the staff are expected to make the best use of school library.
  2. Silence shall be strictly observed in the library.
  3. Students are allowed to borrow only one book at a time and retain it for a period of one week.
  4. If the borrowed books is not returned to the library on the due date, a fine of Re. 1 per day will be imposed.
  5. Borrowers are required to examine the books at the time of borrowing and report to the librarian any damage, loss of pages, pictures etc.
  6. Borrowers are not permitted to pass on the book to others.
  7. Books borrowed should be kept neatly. No marking, under-lining, or any kind of defecting books will be made.
  8. If books are lost, damaged, or badly handled their full cost with a fine will be levied from the borrower. The decision of the Principal in this matter shall be final.



Suggestions To Parents/Guardians

  1. Your kind co-operation is very essential by:-

    • Urging Your wards to be regular and punctual in attendance.
    • Neatly dressing your wards for school and equipping them.
    • seeing your wards do their homework and lessons diligently.
    • keeping the school informed regarding your change of addresse
    • Attending all school functions in the interest of your children.
    • Noting the remarks in the school diary and signing them.
    • school bus. Once discontinued, bus facility will not be given in future.
    • Not giving any kind of present to school / hostel/ bus employees.

    Full co-operations of the parents is earnestly solicited, as good education is the result of a joint effort of the school and the parents. In addition to the class room, children learn from sources such as home, books, friends, library, radio cinema , T.V etc. Hence parents have a great responsibility to provide access to such sources but with great care .

  2. Parents are strictly forbidden to enter class room or meet the class teachers. They should make enquiries at the school office meeting with the class teachers will be arranged only by the Principal. All requests and complaints from parents should be in writing with the name, class and section of the child concerned and their house address so that the Principal can take immediate and appropriate action and notify the parent accordingly.
  3. Parents are strictly advised to keep watch on the pupil's behaviour at home and intimate the headmaster, Vice-Principal if anything requires immediate attention.
  4. Parents are advised to send the child's food packets and drinking water in plastic containers.
  5. Parents are strongly advised to send their children to the school in full School uniform.


Parent Teachers Interaction

Parent have a vital role to play in the education of children, So, to keep the link between the Parents and the School strong and the channels of communication open, regular meetings are held with the parents, where the academic profile of each student is discussed in detail. Open House is held after every Terminal Examination.


Guide Lines For Effective Study

  1. Study the daily portions without postponing to the next day.
  2. Make a fixed time table for daily study and follow strictly.
  3. Attend the classes regularly, eagerly and enthusisastically.
  4. Write short notes in the class with out disturbing others.
  5. Advance reading and asking doubts to the teachers.
  6. Use reference books and other extra reading.
  7. Combined study during the free time especially with bright students.
  8. Revise the previous portions of weekends.
  9. Writing and studying help to improve hand writing, spelling, memory etc.
  10. Fix the equations, formulas, definitions etc. beside your study table.
  11. Healthy and energetic body and fresh brain help to concentrate well. Practice Yoga.
  12. Do the assignments neatly and properly.
  13. Watch only educative T.V. Programmes.
  14. Give short intervals while studying, eg:- when you study for a longtime, you can give short intervals of 5 minutes which refreshes your mind and brain.
  15. Over eating reduces our concentrations. Try to avoid it.
  16. A competitive mind always helps to improve studies. Be competitive.
  17. Have some goals or ambitions and strive for that.
  18. Absolute discipline is expected from students and serious misconduct is a sufficient reason.
  19. Pray to God the source of talents, for the grace to discover and develop them.


Foster These Habits

  • Be always friendly and considerate towards others.
  • Avoid vulgarity in talk and behaviour.
  • Accept the work assigned and do it well.
  • Show respect when Father, Mother, Teacher or visitor enters any room in' which you happen to be.
  • Appreciate the beauty of the-school premises and report any damage which you notice.
  • Use waste bins to throw waste papers.
  • Shun crowding round visitors.
  • Avoid buying eatables sold on the road side.
  • Consider public property as your own.
