The mission of our school is to provide all students with a high quality education that enables them to be contributing members of a multiethnic, multicultural, pluralistic society. Admission Details

The school makes a very careful selection of the pupils and demand high standards in attainments.

Admissions and Withdrawal

  1. The parents/guardians desirous of getting admission for their children/ wards shall apply in the prescribed form. Completed application along with the birth certificate or school leaving certificate should be submitted to the office. The Principal shall interview the candidate and if found fit, shall grand admission.
  2. The administration reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate whose admission is considered undesirable for valid reasons.
  3. The pupil who joins the school fresh from home or from a private school must produce an official birth certificate in support of the date of birth entered in the application form.
  4. A pupil who joins the school after attending recognised school must produce the leaving certificate and in the case of pupil coming from a school outside the state of Kerala, the leaving certificate must be countersigned by the inspector of schools of that state.
  5. A calender month's notice should be given in writing before the withdrawal of the pupil or else the fee for one month's will be charged. Those who leave in April must pay the fees for May also.
  6. No school leaving certificate shall be given unless all the dues to the school have been cleared.
  7. Application for any certificate from the school shall be given two day's earlier.


Absence

  1. No leave or absence shall be granted without the previous request from the parent/ guardian.
  2. In case of illness of any other unforeseen happenings the Principal must be informed and the pupil on return, must bring a note from the parent/ guardian certifying the fact.
  3. If a student is absent for 15 days without leave, his/ her name shall be removed from the class rolls and the usual admission fee shall be charged if he/ or she is readmitted.
  4. Pupils not returning after holidays without prior permission are liable to have their names struck off.



Fees


St. George Public School is a non-profitable and charitable institution. It receives no grant or aid from any source. Day to day expenses and further developments have to be met by the amount of fees collected.
The school office will remain closed on 2nd Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Parents are most welcome to meet Administrator/ Principal/ Vice Principal and Teaching Staff with prior appointment.


School Bus


The school owns buses for the convenience of students coming from different places.

  1. Only students are allowed to travel by the school bus.
  2. The bus runs only on specific routes and will collect pupils from the specific points.
  3. It is the duty of the parent to collect the pupils from the bus.
  4. Bus fee will be charged for 10 months of the academic year. There is no provision for concession for broken period. The bus fee card must be produced at the time of payment and during the journey.
  5. One calender month's notice should be given in writing before the withdrawal of the pupil from the school bus. Once discontinued, bus facility will not be given in future.
  6. Damage, if any, caused to the bus should be made good by the concerned students.

House System


For the smooth conduct of the sports and games activities, we divide all the students in to 4 houses:

  • Gandhi House(Green)
  • Nehru House(Blue)
  • Netaji House(Red)
  • Tagore House(Yellow)

Sports, games and literary competitions are conducted on the basis of the above houses.

An Ever-Rolling trophy is instituted for the overall champion house.The trophy is named St.George Ever-Rolling Trophy for the champion house.Mrs.Susan Thomas,Keerikattu Mathew Villa, the first member on the teaching faculty,sponsored this Trophy in memory of her husband, Late Mr.Thomas Mathew.
