The St. George Senior Secondary School managed by Catholicate and MD schools Kottayam, is located in salubrious and pristine environs of a sprawling 10 acres of land namely St. George Nagar Kozhuvallur, reachable by 4km via Mulakuzha junction on main central road. Placed in this idyllic setting providing a feast to the eyes, the school in the 20th year of harnessing value based education routed in social and spiritual foundation for imparting knowledge as is seen and understood in the light of Gods revealed wisdom. It is in the compound of St. George Orthodox church Kozhuvallur.

With a vision of par excellence the school was founded through the humble and dedicated efforts of the then vicar of St. George Orthodox Rev. Fr. Sam George. It is proud to say that Rev. Fr. Sam George, the local manager of the school has been raised as Very Rev. Nathaniel Ramban of Mylappra Ashram.

The school runs smoothly and effectively through the dedicated and concerted efforts of the management under H. G. Mathews Mar Thevodosious as the manager then Very Rev. Nathaniel Ramban, Rev Fr. Kurien Joseph as the school administrator, the principal, teachers, parents and PTA.

The school provides opportunities for the overall and holistic efforts of the students at their Educational, Physical Artistic, Histrionic, Spiritual and Emotional levels thereby improving their IQ and EQ. The school keeps 100% result in AISSE and AISSCE with the dedicated work of the teachers. Then the school provides special training for inculcating the talents of students through SUPW classes in Music, Dance, Kungfu, Keyboard Tabla, Violin, Painting, Drawing, Craft work. Yoga has also been included to make the students, sound in their physical and mental health. The school has well-equipped smart classes and Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. The school has a spacious and well developed library supervised by the Librarian to improve the reading skill among the students and staff. The school provides all possible assistance for slow learners and weak students.

For the smooth conduct of the Arts and Sports activities, all students are categorized in to 4 houses namely Diamond, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. After the school level competitions the winners are taken to Central Travancore Sahodaya Complex - " Kalotsav and Athletic Competitions " and win many prizes. The toppers of our school are again taken for the State Kalotsav and win prizes in different items.
